2 Months and Growing!!!

Zachary had his 2 month check-up today. He weighed in at 13 lbs and 7 0z and was 24 1/2 inches long. This put his weight in the 90th percentile and his length in the 95th percentile. Doc says he looks great. He had met the typical 2 month milestones, which include smiling, cooing and tracking people and toys with his eyes. He had his first shots and did really well. Hopefully he won't be feverish or fussy today. So far so good. Doc gave us some ideas for working on Zachary soothing himself to sleep and sleeping through the night. He has slept through the night on 5 or 6 occasions but not on a regular basis yet. Doc thinks he is ready and able to do it so we are going to work on it. It would be great if he were in this routine by the time I start back to work in a few weeks. We will see. His next check-up is in 4 months. I don't have any new pictures yet since we just took pictures on Mother's Day. We are going to have his first formal pictures done when he is 3 months so those will be coming soon. We are going to Knoxville tomorrow to visit Poppy and Mimi. Will post some pics of that visit soon.
