Long overdue update

I am finally posting a long overdue update and pictures. Zachary is 3 but will be 4 in March. Most days it is so hard to believe how quickly he has grown. He is turning into such a smart, handsome, independent and loving young man. He is currently in the Bears class at preschool. This will be his last class before he begins the Pre-K class in August. He is learning so much at school. He has known all of his ABC's, shapes and colors for a while but is now learning to trace his name, write the letter Z and count to 20 and beyond (he recently recognized 100 on the speedometer in my car). He continues to have Spanish and Music class as well as gymnastics/athletic prep. We just went to his athletics program last week, and he will have a music program next week. He stays very busy with school and activities. He played soccer this fall, which was loads of fun. Dale calls it herd ball, since it's basically a bunch of kids hovering around the ball. But Zachary played pretty well and definitely had fun. He had his last practice and game today and got a trophy. Zachary loves anything that has to do with fire trucks and firefighters. He was a firefighter for Halloween, so we took him by his favorite fire station for trick or treating. They loved his costume. We made fireman pants and an oxygen tank...it was great. Zachary also loves going to church. In addition to Sunday school, he also goes to Cubbies on Wednesday nights. He memorizes a verse each week and has a large group time that includes a lesson and singing. He has such a fun time and loves his church buddies. Daddy and I are so in love with Zachary, and we thank God everyday for blessing us with him and for trusting us to be good parents to him. While parenting is not easy every day and we definitely face our challenges, we take it a day at a time together and with God's guidance. Here are a few pictures taken over the past few months.
