We had to say goodbye to one of our dogs last week. Sugar was jack russell terrier, and Dale had her for about 10 years. She had not been feeling well for a few days, so we took her to our family vet (Dale's cousin). He found her to be very anemic, and she actually died in the clinic that day. Afterwards we found out she had a tumor on her spleen that had ruptured. It was sad enough to lose her, but even sadder that we didn't know she was so sick and didn't expect to lose her so suddenly. Now we are very concerned that Cooper will be very lonely. He and Sugar were best buddies and spent all day together. But NO, we are not getting another dog. We are hoping Cooper will adjust in time. I have included a couple of pictures of Sugar and of course a couple of recent pictures of Zachary!
